Application Period for Cities and Counties is OPEN

The application period is open from October 1, 2023 through April 1, 2024.

The OAA's application period for cities and counties is open to apply for, amend, and/or renew Individual Distribution, "Gold Standard" Incentive, and Cooperative Partnerships. All relevant information is on the OAA's Grants Portal on our website. PLEASE NOTE: there have been changes to all forms and processes from the previous cycle. If you have been working on an application from the previous cycle's documents, please review the appropriate Grants Portal tab and ensure you are using the most updated requirements and documents.

Highlights of changes include:

• Governing Body Resolutions No Longer Required
• Updated Look-up Tool for Estimated Settlement Payments for Cities and Counties
• Updated Applications
• Updated "Gold Standard" Incentive Application Only Needs to be Completed Once (vs. yearly)
• Workbook for Reporting Direct Distribution Information
• Standardized Budget Workbooks
• Visualization of How Settlement Funds Can be Combined as a Match for Cooperative Partnership Projects
• Amendment/Renewal Applications and Workbooks for Current Awards
  • All Current Awards Must Submit a Renewal Application for Funding to Continue into FY2025.
  • Amendments for the Current Year (FY2024) or Combined with a Renewal for the Upcoming Year (FY2025)
    • Please Review the Respective Guidance Documents for Allowable Amendments
• Table of Due Dates for Applications to be Considered at Subsequent Grants Committee Meetings (in the respective General Guidance Documents)
  • Option Draft Review by OAA Staff Date
  • Final Application Due Date
  • Grants Committer Meeting Date
    • All New and Renewal/Amendment Applications for Cooperative Partnerships will be considered at the Grants Committee Meeting After the Application Period has Closed
